I use a balanced training approach, which means I also teach boundaries and help dogs understand when a behavior isn’t okay.

    It’s not about punishing dogs, it’s about giving them clear communication, so they know what’s expected and how to succeed. That’s what creates calm, confident, well-behaved dogs who can handle the real world.

    So yes, positive reinforcement is absolutely in the mix. It's just not the only tool in the toolbox.
